Waterside Model Club was formed in 1981 to cater to the needs of all modellers from the New Forest and Southampton areas of Hampshire. The Club has sections for boats, cars, and helicopters. Some of our members even like to make and use model tanks.
The boating section caters for scale, fast electric, IC and steam along with sail. The car section runs purely electric cars.
We operate from Gang Warily Recreation Centre, which is located in the Waterside area of Hampshire between Fawley, Holbury and Blackfield.
The centre offers car parking, toilets, and refreshments and there is a large pond we use for boating, a large area for flying models and a large indoor hall which we use for model car racing.
